The Tschinglen cable car, the only cable car that takes you right into the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Swiss Tectonic Arena Sardona, takes you from June to October to the Tschinglenalp at 1480 m above sea level at the foot of the world-famous Martinsloch. The journey of discovery under the name "Expedition Tschinglen" starts at the valley station in Elm and begins with an impressive ride through the spectacular Tschinglen Gorge. Once you arrive at Tschinglenalp, the traditional village invites you to make a stopover before continuing on your journey of discovery. The tour leads as a circular route over the rockfall wall to a magnificent vista point, with a fireplace and seating. The special features of the geology and the Alps are described along the way: the knowledge of generations of scientists is passed on in a clear and understandable way.
